Good Samaritans Help Injured Man, Dodge Vehicles in Pileup Crash
ENCINO, Calif. (July 26, 2024) — A huge pileup crash happened early Friday on the 101 Freeway and Hayvenhurst Avenue in Encino.
Roughly eight vehicles were involved and one of the vehicles overturned on the eastbound 101 at around midnight on July 26th, according to KTLA 5 News and the California Highway Patrol.
Good Samaritans stopped to help a person who was ejected in the rollover crash. They exited their vehicles to help him, but other motorists rear-ended their stopped vehicles and one man had to jump out of the way.
Paramedics responded to help those injured, but there are no further details at this time.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the 101 Freeway in Encino.
