Multi-Vehicle Fowler Crash on Highway 99
FOWLER, Calif. (March 11, 2022) — A multi-vehicle Fowler crash on Highway 99 happened early Friday morning near Merced Street off ramp.
The collision happened near the exit just before 3:30 am., according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported multiple vehicles crashed in the northbound lanes. It’s unknown if there are any injuries.
The collision closed down the freeway for a short time due to the roadway being blocked. Caltrans crews eventually cleared debris from the two left lanes of the roadway and traffic returned to normal.
The CHP continued to investigate the collision to determine fault.
