5-Vehicle Collision on State Route 168
FRESNO, Calif. (July 31, 2023) — A multi-vehicle crash in Fresno happened Monday morning on Highway 168 at the transition to the westbound State Route 180.
The five-vehicle collision occurred in the westbound lanes of SR-168 around 7:54 a.m. on July 31st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a black Jaguar sedan, a white Acura MDX, and three other motorists were involved. The vehicles collided in the fast lane and middle lanes of SR-168, the report said.
Tow trucks removed four of the vehicles from the scene due to unspecified damage from the collision.
Meanwhile, authorities are investigating the cause of the crash and liability.
