Major Crash on Highway 180 in Fresno
FRESNO, Calif. (Sept. 15, 2022) — A Fresno crash involving two motorists happened Thursday afternoon on Highway 180 near the Chestnut Avenue off ramp.
The traffic accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of the Sequoia Kings Canyon Freeway about 2:35 p.m. on Sept. 15th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver struck another driver and caused it to spin around and collided with a third motorist.
The vehicles involved were a silver Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and a silver Ford Focus. Both of them had significant damage from the collision.
Additionally, at least one person suffered major injuries in the collision. Paramedics responded with an ambulance to transport at least one person.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
