At Least 1 Hurt after 8 Vehicles Collide
OAKLAND, California (May 12, 2016) – An injury traffic collision involving multiple vehicles occurred on Highway 24 Tuesday afternoon, according to KTVU. (map)
The crash took place in the eastbound lanes of Highway 24 near Broadway at about 4:30 p.m. Approximately eight vehicles were believed to have been involved in the accident.
California Highway Patrol said only minor injuries were reported to have been caused by the multi-car wreck. At least one person was confirmed to be wounded following the collision.
The article did not include the total number of victims hurt in the incident. It also did not mention if the patient was treated at the scene or was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, all lanes were reportedly reopened around 5:20 p.m.
