CHP Reports Crash on Interstate 5 Freeway
IRVINE, Calif. (Feb. 5, 2024) — A multi-vehicle crash in Irvine happened Monday morning on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway, just north of the 405 Freeway.
The collision occurred at around 8:15 a.m. on Feb. 5th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a gray Honda, a black Toyota Corolla, a gray Honda, a gray Audi A4, a white minivan and a Hyundai Genesis were involved. They collided in the HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway and one vehicle was facing the wrong way.
Paramedics responded to help anyone hurt in the crash and investigators are working to determine fault for the collision.
