Car Accident on I-580 Freeway in Livermore
LIVERMORE, Calif. (April 5, 2022) — A multi-vehicle Livermore crash on the Interstate 580 Freeway happened Tuesday morning, just east of Isabel Avenue.
The collision occurred about 6:53 a.m. on April 5th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported three motorists collided due to unknown reasons. A blue Honda Accord reported crashed under the back of a black Nissan Pathfinder SUV in the No. 2 lane. A gray Honda Civici also collided with at least one of the vehicles.
At least one person suffered undisclosed injuries in the crash. Paramedics responded to the scene to help those who needed medical assistance, but it’s unknown if anyone was taken to a hospital.
Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash and liability.
