Six Vehicles Involved in Crash on Artesia 91 Freeway
LONG BEACH, Calif. (Oct. 27, 2023) — A multi-vehicle Long Beach car accident happened Friday morning on the Artesia 91 Freeway, just west of Downey Avenue.
The six-vehicle collision occurred in the eastbound lanes of State Route 91 at around 7:35 a.m. on Oct. 27th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a white Nissan, a burgundy Nissan Sentra, a white pickup truck, a Tesla, a black Honda and a white Toyota Camry were involved. The vehicles were blocking the HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway.
The Long Beach Fire Department responded with paramedics to help anyone hurt in the crash, but there were no specific details in the CHP report.
Meanwhile, at least one of the vehicles required a tow truck to remove it from the scene.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Long Beach accident on the Artesia 91 Freeway.
