3-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 405 Freeway in Mission Hills
MISSION HILLS, Calif. (Sept. 15, 2022) — Several motorists collided on the southbound Interstate 405 Freeway Thursday afternoon near Rinaldi Street in the Mission Hills area.
The crash took place about 12:26 p.m. on Sept. 15th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials report a driver in a blue or green vehicle was allegedly driving reckless prior to colliding with two other vehicles. A white Toyota Camry and a silver Chevrolet Malibu were involved in the collision with the late-model green or blue sedan.
The vehicles blocked the HOV and No. 1 lanes of the I-405 Freeway.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to help those involved who suffered injuries in the Mission Hills crash.
The report did not state how many were hurt or if anyone was hospitalized.
Finally, investigators are piecing together evidence and witness statements to determine fault.
