Hit-and-run Crash on State Route 60 in Montebello
MONTEBELLO, Calif. (Nov. 18, 2024) — A hit-and-run driver was involved in a multi-vehicle crash Monday night on the Pomona 60 Freeway in Montebello.
The traffic collision occurred on the westbound SR-60 at around 5:22 p.m. on Nov. 18th, near East Markland Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a green Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck, a red Ford Explorer SUV, and two other vehicles. One of the drivers fled the scene without stopping to exchange information.
One person was possibly injured and trapped in their vehicle following the crash.
Paramedics responded and closed down the numbers four and five lanes of the freeway. Police are searching for the suspect who fled the scene.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the Pomona 60 Freeway in Montebello.
