4-Vehicle Crash on State Route 55 in Orange
ORANGE, Calif. (April 19, 2023) — A multi-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle happened Wednesday on the Costa Mesa 55 Freeway, just north of Chapman Avenue.
The collision occurred on the southbound State Route 55 around 7:30 a.m. on April 19th, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

CHP officers responded to the scene and located the drivers of a Yamaha motorcycle, a Mercedes Benz and two other motorists blocking the HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.
Metro Net Fire Authority responded with paramedics to help those injured in the crash including the motorcyclist.
A tow truck from Archies Towing removed the Yamaha motorcycle and investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Orange motorcycle accident on the 55 Freeway.
