Semi-Truck, Cars Crash at Bay Bridge Toll Plaza in Oakland
OAKLAND, Calif. (Oct. 24, 2022) — A crash involving a semi-truck and two cars happened Monday just past the Bay Bridge Toll Plaza on Interstate 80 in Oakland.
The 3-vehicle collision occurred about 6:18 a.m. on Oct. 24th at the beginning of the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a maroon Peterbilt truck, a green Honda sedan and a white Toyota Camry are involved. It’s unknown what led up to the collision in the westbound lanes of the I-80 Freeway, but CHP officials are working on the case.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person hurt in the crash.
