3-Vehicle Collision on US 101 in Oxnard

VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. (Dec. 26, 2024) — Multi-vehicle crash in Oxnard happened Thursday afternoon on Ventura 101 Freeway, just north of Rice Avenue in Ventura County.

The 3-vehicle traffic accident occurred at 12:55 p.m. on Dec. 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a white Ford Edge SUV, a dark brown BMW, and a red Toyota Corolla sedan were involved.

The Toyota had major front-end damage, the Ford had major front-and-rear damage, and the BMW had unknown damage.

All vehicles pulled to the right side of the freeway and tow trucks removed all three from the roadway.

Paramedics responded to help at least one person with minor injuries, but there are no further details.

Finally, CHP officials are working to determine fault for the crash on the 101 Freeway in Oxnard.
