Multi-Vehicle Petaluma Crash Highway 101, Lakeville Highway

3 Injured in Car Accident on US 101

PETALUMA, Calif. (Dec. 5, 2023) — Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 101 in Petaluma happened Tuesday afternoon, just south of Lakeville Highway.

The collision occurred in the southbound lanes of US 101 at around 3 p.m. on Dec. 5th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of six vehicles were involved in the crash in the Nos. 3 and 4 lanes of Highway 101 due to unknown circumstances.

Paramedics responded and transported three people with undisclosed injuries to a hospital for further treatment.

Meanwhile, at least three of the vehicles required a tow truck due to significant damage from the accident.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Highway 101 in Petaluma.
