
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (June 16, 2023) — A multi-vehicle Redwood City crash happened Friday afternoon on the southbound Highway 101, just north of the Woodside Road off ramp.
As many as five vehicles were involved in the 12:45 p.m. collision on June 16th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Lexus, a red Nissan and three other vehicles were involved. The motorists collided in the Nos. 3 and 4 lanes of Highway 101. The report stated the Lexus and the Nissan both had major front-end and rear-end damage. Tow trucks removed these two vehicles from the freeway.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded and treated at least one person for a possible head injury and minor cuts, but there are no further details.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Highway 101 crash in Redwood City.
