Minor Injury Crash in San Diego Near University Off Ramp
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (July 12, 2024) — A multi-vehicle car accident happened Friday afternoon in San Diego California on Interstate 805, just south of the University Avenue off ramp.
The traffic accident occurred at around 12:44 PM on July 12, 2024, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP reported that a three-vehicle traffic collision occurred on the Interstate 805 Freeway in San Diego. A white Honda Accord with two other unknown vehicles ended up in the center divide of the highway.
Meanwhile, a white Nissan sedan, a black Toyota Corolla, and a blue CHV all were on the right side of the road. The passengers in the white Honda Accord were able to exit the car safely, but the car is itself was reported to be unmovable.
In addition, another vehicle was reported to be involved but CHP is not sure that the car is indeed involved in the initial crash.
Paramedics responded and located at least one person with minor injuries who they transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Investigators are working to determine who is at fault for the accident in San Diego on Interstate 805.
