3-Vehicle Crash on I-8 Freeway/Mission Valley Freeway
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Jan. 30, 2024) — A collision involving three vehicles happened Tuesday afternoon on the eastbound Interstate 8 Freeway, just west of College Avenue in San Diego.
It happened at around 1:40 p.m. on Jan. 30th on Mission Valley Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a blue Kia Sedona, a gray Jeep Cherokee and a gray Toyota Camry were involved in the collision. It’s unknown what led up to the accident on the right side of the freeway.
Paramedics responded to help anyone injured in the crash, but there are no further details at this time.
Investigators are working to determine fault and tow trucks are clearing away damaged vehicles from the Interstate 8 freeway in San Diego.
