Fiery Crash on State Route Highway 4 in Stockton
STOCKTON, Calif. (Nov. 21, 2022) — A major injury Stockton crash involving multiple vehicles happened Monday morning on Highway 4 at South Inland Drive.
The collision occurred about 6 a.m. on Nov. 21st, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Several vehicles including a semi-truck collided and one of them overturned and caught on fire in the eastbound lanes of State Route 4. Two people from the fully-engulfed vehicle managed to get out and walk away from the burning vehicle.
Stockton Fire Department and police responded to help those involved.
They located the drivers of a black Toyota Sienna with major front-end damage, the big rig truck and a third vehicle.
At least one person suffered major injuries and paramedics transported them to a hospital.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the collision.
