3-Vehicle Crash in HOV Lane on 5 Freeway
TUSTIN, Calif. (Jan. 4, 2024) — At least one person was hurt in a multi-vehicle crash on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway, just north of Tustin Ranch Road in Tustin.
The 3-vehicle collision occurred at around 8:16 a.m. in the HOV lane of the freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a white GMC Sierra pickup truck, a white Cadillac Escalade and a white Kia were involved. One of the vehicles was occupied by three people and was towed from the scene.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to help anyone hurt in the crash, but there are no specific details at this time.
Finally, investigators will determine fault for the Tustin crash on the 5 Freeway.
