Head-on Collision in Mendocino County
UKIAH, Calif. (July 29, 2024) — A multi-vehicle car accident happened in Ukiah California on US Highway 101 in front of the Jaxon Keys Winery & Distillery in Mendocino County.
The head-on collision occurred around 3:15 PM on Monday July 29th, 2024, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, blue Subaru Forrester, and a black Ford SUV collided on US 101 Highway due to unknown circumstances. The collision was a partial traffic hazard and ended up blocking the roadway on the highway. CHP later reported that the vehicles that were involved in the crash are blocking both sides of the Highway 101. This leads to the normal flow of traffic to cease. Tow trucks were needed on the scene to remove the damaged vehicles from the highway to restore the normal flow of traffic.
Paramedics responded and located those with injuries and transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Investigators are working to determine who is at fault for the accident in Ukiah California on US 101 Highway.
