2 Injured in Murrieta Crash on Sky Canyon Drive
MURRIETA, CA (October 27, 2022) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash on Sky Canyon Drive in Murrieta.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the accident on Wednesday morning. CAL FIRE reported the wreck on October 26 at about 9:21 a.m.
Patch wrote that the incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Murrieta near French Valley. The cars crashed in the 38000 block of Sky Canyon Drive near Technology Drive.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and freed one trapped occupant from the wreckage. Two people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
One person sustained moderate injuries while the other survived with minor injuries. Medical personnel rushed them to hospitals for treatment.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Sky Canyon Drive to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Murrieta crash is still under investigation.
