3 Hospitalized Murrieta Crash on I-215 Freeway
MURRIETA, Calif. (Sept. 21, 2022) — A multi-vehicle Murrieta crash happened Wednesday on the Interstate 215 Freeway, just north of Clinto Keith Road in Riverside County.
The 3-vehicle collision occurred in the northbound lanes of the I-215 about 11:38 a.m. on Sept. 21st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers involved included a black 4-door sedan, a red Dodge towing a boat and a third vehicle.
Three people suffered injuries in the collision. Paramedics responded to transport them to a hospital, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, after the patients were taken from the freeway, police reopened the Nos. 1 and 3 lanes to traffic.
Also, investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
