1 Killed, 1 Injured in Murrieta Crash at Auld and Pourroy Roads
MURRIETA, CA (July 9, 2022) – A crash at Auld Road and Pourroy Road killed one person and injured another in Murrieta.
According to The Daily Bulletin and CBS Los Angeles, the tragic accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 12:44 p.m. near French Valley.
The Riverside County Fire Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Murrieta. They crashed at the intersection of Auld and Pourroy roads.
2 Cars Collide
Cal Fire described the cars as a Jeep and a sedan. One of them rolled three to four times upon impact and then landed on its wheels.
An occupant ended up ejected from a car as a result of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived and pronounced a woman dead at the scene.
Medical personnel then rushed another patient to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, police forced the area of Auld and Pourroy roads to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Murrieta crash is still under investigation.
