MURRIETA, Calif. (Feb. 23, 2023) — A major-injury crash happened Thursday afternoon at Clinton Keith Road and Avenida La Cresta.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred around 12 p.m. on Feb. 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver in a Ford Excursion SUV reportedly rear-ended a disabled vehicle at the intersection, according to the dispatch. The two vehicles also collided with two others during the crash. A traffic sign also got knocked down by one of the motorists.
CAL FIRE Riverside County Fire Department responded to the scene to help at least one person with major injuries from the crash.
There are no further details at this time.
Tow trucks removed at least two of the damaged vehicles and investigators are working on the case to determine liability.
