MURRIETA: Tempers Flare After Two-Vehicle Collision on Murrieta Hot Springs Road

MURRIETA, California (Monday June 29, 2015) — Two-vehicle collision sparks fight between drivers at Murrieta Hot Springs Road and Willows Avenue junction in Murrieta, just north of Temecula.

The collision occurred shortly before 9:00 p.m. between a silver-colored Honda Pilot and an unidentified black sedan. The driver of the Honda, who reported the collision, was a male with three juvenile passengers. One vehicle was in the center divide, while the other was pulled to the right shoulder. After they exited the vehicle the occupants of the black sedan tried to pick a fight with the driver of the Honda. California Highway Patrol intervened and pacified the situation. All parties declined medical attention, despite mild injuries to the occupants of the Honda. A tow truck was required to remove both vehicles.

Police are investigating to discover responsibility for the collision.
