1 Seriously Injured in Muscoy Crash at Macy and Mesa Streets
MUSCOY, CA (September 17, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Macy Street and Mesa Street in Muscoy.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck took place late Friday afternoon. Officers reported the accident at about 5:37 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason in Muscoy. They crashed at the intersection of North Macy and Mesa streets.
2 Cars Collide Head-On
The incident log described the cars as a black Mercedes sedan and a beige colored SUV. One of them obtained major front-end damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the 210 Freeway. They found one person who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced both the northbound and southbound lanes of Macy and Mesa streets to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Muscoy crash is still under investigation.
