1 Injured in Muscoy Hit-and-Run Crash at State Street and Mallory Street
MUSCOY, CA (July 2, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash at State Street and Mallory Street in Muscoy.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck took place on Friday evening. Officers reported the accident shortly after 7 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Muscoy. They crashed at the intersection of North State Street and Mallory Street.
2 Cars Collide Near Tire Shop
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near a tire shop. They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the wreck. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a driver involved did not stop to to render aid and fled the area. Officers forced the area of State and Mallory streets to close following the collision.
The report described the cars involved as a gray sedan and a brown colored sedan. The cause of the Muscoy hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
