 Muscoy Pedestrian Accident N. Macy Street, Blake Street (Sept. 29) Major Injury Pedestrian Accident at Macy and Blake Streets

MUSCOY, Calif. (Sept. 29, 2022) —  A homeless woman suffered major injuries in a pedestrian accident Thursday morning at North Macy Street and Blake Street in Muscoy.

The collision occurred about 5:55 a.m. on Sept. 29th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials say a driver in a gray Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck struck the victim at the intersection as she was reportedly crossing the street. The woman suffered major injuries and required an ambulance. The motorist stopped the truck and called 911 for help.  Paramedics transported the woman to a hospital.

Meanwhile, the pickup truck was towed for evidence and authorities are investigating the collision to determine fault. There are stop signs in all directions controlling the intersection and there are also crosswalks on all sides.

Finally, police will determine fault for the Muscoy pedestrian accident.
