Pedestrian Injured in Muscoy Hit-and-Run on Highland Avenue Near California Street
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY (December 17, 2019) – An alleged hit-and-run collision along Highway Avenue injured a pedestrian in Muscoy on Tuesday night.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident was reported at about 7:25 p.m. at the location of 1950 West Highland Avenue.
According to the report log, a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason on the eastbound side of Highland just west of North California Street.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to the victim who suffered unspecified injuries upon impact.
The patient was then transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment. The name and condition of the wounded party at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, officers affirmed that the driver of the car involved failed to stop and fled the area. Authorities are still investigating the incident.
