Pedestrian Injured in Muscoy Hit-and-Run Crash on West 2nd Avenue
MUSCOY, CA (February 14, 2021) – A pedestrian was injured after a hit-and-run crash along 2nd Avenue in Muscoy.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the incident occurred on Thursday night. Officers reported the accident on February 11 at about 8:52 p.m.
A witness said the right side mirror of a vehicle clipped the pedestrian at 2279 West 2nd Avenue. The driver hit the person between June Street and Twin Peaks Road.

Firefighters along with the paramedics then responded to the scene. They found the victim left on the side of the road as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon treated the patient for the unspecified injuries they suffered following the crash. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the victim and fled the area. Officers described the car involved as a white Ford SUV.
Authorities are still searching for the hit-and-run suspect.
