Men Killed in Crash at Downey Avenue and Imperial Highway
DOWNEY, Calif. (July 25, 2023) – Mynor Medina, 27, of Fontana, and Fabian Armas Cortes, 34, both died in a car accident early Saturday morning in Downey.
The collision occurred around 5:10 a.m. on Saturday, July 22nd, according to the a CHP report and the Downey Police Department.
The two men were traveling together in a vehicle that crashed due to unknown circumstances.
Police issued a SigAlert at 5:11 a.m. and closed down the eastbound and westbound traffic lanes on Imperial Highway between Downey Avenue and Paramount Boulevard.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified the two men as Mynor Medina and Fabian Armas Cortes.
The Downey Police Department is heading up the investigation.
