Woman Injured in Hit-and-run Crash in Fresno County
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (Dec. 27, 2023) — Myrna Blanco, 46, Sanger, was critically injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident Friday night on Temperance Avenue in Fresno County.
The California Highway Patrol reported the collision at around 7:05 p.m. on Dec. 22nd at Temperance Avenue, just north of North Avenue.
A driver struck the 46-year-old woman on the shoulder of Temperance Avenue and then fled the scene without stopping to help her, police said.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured woman to a local hospital where she is being treated for life-threatening injuries, police said.
Authorities are working on the case and looking for the suspect who fled.
