Major Injury Collision at Myrtle and Vernon
Myrtletown, CA (September 10, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol reported a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Myrtle Avenue and Vernon Street.
On July 29, a collision between a motorcycle rider and an SUV took place at the intersection in Myrtletown, a census-designated place in Humboldt County.
Our sources indicated a man riding a motorbike crashed into a Ford Explorer at Myrtle and Vernon. Due to the force from the impact, the Ford sustained moderate front-left damage. Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the condition of the motorcycle after the incident.
At Least 1 Hurt in Myrtletown Traffic Accident
Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, officials confirmed one person sustained major injuries as a result of the crash. Personal information on the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Several factors surrounding the incident have not been revealed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the collision that happened at Myrtle Avenue and Vernon Street.
