Naiomi Jones, 34, Killed in Hit-and-Run at Harvard Boulevard and 120th Street
SOUTH LOS ANGELES (May 6, 2018) – A woman was killed after an alleged hit-and-run crash at Harvard Boulevard and 120th Street late Saturday night, according to NBC Los Angeles.
The victim has been identified as 34-year-old Naiomi Jones, of Beverly Hills.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said Jones was driving a 1997 Honda when she stopped at a stop sign to turn onto westbound 120th Street.
As Jones began turning, a 2016 Mercedes Benz traveling at a high rate of speed struck the driver’s side of her car. Both vehicles spun, with the Honda ending up at a two-way turn lane.

The Mercedes ultimately slammed head-on into a wooden pole east of the intersection. The accident was reported at about 10:30 p.m. in the Athens section of unincorporated Los Angeles County.
CHP affirmed that Jones suffered major head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the two male occupants of the Honda with reportedly had paper plates got into a white BMW sedan that eventually arrived at the crash site. The BMW fled east on 120 Street.
