San Joaquin County, CA (August 3, 2021)Nancy Cahue, a 30-year-old woman, died following a boating accident near Mandeville Island Friday, the FOX40 News reported.

Preliminary investigation revealed Nancy Cahue, and a male party participated in a poker run in the Stockton Deep Water Channel. Our sources indicated the boat operator was going fast in the water when they hit a large wake. The force from the impact caused the front of the boat to become airborne.

According to the article published online, the boat eventually flipped backwards. The water vessel ended up capsizing.

Authorities said the overturned boat trapped Nancy Cahue underneath. Per local news source, rescue teams used an unmanned submersible vessel to locate the body of Nancy Cahue. Paramedics confirmed the woman sadly died as a result of the incident.

Meanwhile, the male operator of the boat reportedly sustained injuries from the crash. An ambulance transported the patient to the hospital for treatment.
