Woman Riding Bicycle Killed in Car Accident
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (June 26, 2024) — Nancy Carolina Ortiz, 43, of San Bernardino, died earlier this month in a bicycle accident at 30th Street and F Street in San Bernardino.
The deadly crash occurred at around 10:35 p.m. on Saturday, June 8th, according to the San Bernardino Police Department.
Police determined the San Bernardino woman was riding her bicycle when a driver struck her due to unknown circumstances.
She suffered major injuries and paramedics took her to St. Bernardine Medical Center where they pronounced her deceased in the emergency department at 11:26 p.m., the coroner said.
The San Bernardino Police Department is heading up the investigation.
