Woman Killed in Wasco Crash Saturday on Hwy 43
WASCO, Calif. (June 7, 2021) — Nancy Padilla, 35, died Saturday in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 43.
The collision happened about 11 a.m. on June 5th, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office and 23 ABC News.
2-Vehicle Crash in Wasco Area on Highway 43
Nancy Elizabeth Padilla was driving a vehicle that collided with another vehicle on Highway 43. The traffic accident happened just north of Sherwood Avenue in Wasco.
Meanwhile, the vehicles were both black or dark-colored sedans and they wound up on opposite shoulders of the highway. Nancy Padilla suffered major injuries and died at the scene. At least one person suffered injuries in the Wasco crash. There were no further details in the CHP report.
The cause of the accident is unknown at this time, but police will determine fault. Witnesses may contact authorities.
