Pedestrian Accident at West Shaw and North Thorne Avenue
FRESNO, Calif. (Dec. 1, 2020) – Naomi Toshiyuki, 67, of Fresno, died in a pedestrian accident on Nov. 25th at West Shaw and North Thorne avenues.
The traffic accident took place about 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25th, according to the Fresno County Sheriff Coroner. The vehicle involved struck the Fresno woman at the intersection, but there were no further details provided, according to the Fresno Bee.
Paramedics responded and transported Naomi Toshiyuki by ambulance to the Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Later, the following day, the coroner reported the pedestrian succumbed to her injuries and died at the hospital. The coroner identified Noami Toshiyuki as the pedestrian who died in the crash. It’s unknown at this time if the motorist involved was charged with a crime.
Finally, investigators are seeking to find out the cause of the fatal pedestrian accident. Witnesses are urged to contact authorities working on the case.
