Cyclist, 14, Airlifted to Hospital After Collision at Imola Avenue and Parrish Road Tuesday
Napa, CA (September 8, 2021) – A 14-year-old boy suffered injuries following a bicycle accident that occurred in the area of Imola Avenue and Parrish Road on September 7.
According to the Napa Valley Register, the teenager was riding a bicycle heading north on Parish Road. Earlier reports indicated the cyclist collided with two vehicles when he crossed the Imola Avenue intersection.

Our sources indicated the 2002 Jeep Wrangler was heading south on Parrish, while the 2014 Ford Focus was heading west on Imola. For an unknown reason, the two drivers and the bicyclist all drove into the crossing at the same time, leading to the crash.
Shortly after 5:50 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the scene. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the teenager with injuries. Due to the condition of the juvenile, a helicopter transported him to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland. The patient received treatment for unspecified injuries.
Authorities continue to withhold details on the driver of the Jeep and the Focus.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate liability in the major bicycle accident in Napa.
