Cyclist Hospitalized After Collision at Redwood Road and Solano Avenue
Napa, CA (March 30, 2022) – A bicycle rider suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Redwood Road and Solano Avenue.
Bus vs. Bicycle Accident in Napa
The Napa Valley Register published an article online reporting a cyclist knocked down by a bus. Preliminary investigation revealed the motorcycle rider was heading north on Redwood Road. When the motorcyclist approached the intersection at Solano Avenue, a VINE bus struck the rider. Our sources indicated the bus was pulling out of the park-and-ride lot when the collision happened.
Shortly after 9:32 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the site. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the motorcyclist found with injuries. An ambulance transported the patient to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for further treatment and evaluation. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the traffic accident at Redwood Road and Solano Avenue.
