2 Injured in Napa County Crash at Silverado Trail and Deer Park Road
NAPA COUNTY, CA (August 16, 2022) – Two were hospitalized after a DUI crash at Silverado Trail and Deer Park Road in Napa County.
According to an article published by The Napa County Register, the accident took place on Saturday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:15 p.m., north of St Helena.
The incident happened on August 13 when a 2020 Jeep Cherokee was going east on Deer Park Road, approaching the Silverado Trail, in Napa County.
At the same time, a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling north on Silverado. The California Highway Patrol said the Jeep then ran a stop sign at the intersection.

In the process, the Cherokee slammed into the Chevrolet. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found the two passengers in the Tahoe hurt.
Medical personnel rushed both victims to the Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The reports did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. The driver of the Chevrolet ended up unharmed.
Meanwhile, CHP determined that the woman driving the Jeep was under the influence of alcohol when she hit the other car. They soon arrested her on suspicion of DUI causing injury.
Officers forced the area of Silverado Trail and Deer Park to shut down following the wreck. The Napa County crash is still under investigation.
