2 Injured in Napa County Crash on Spring Mountain Road
NAPA COUNTY, CA (September 29, 2022) – A car crash left two people injured on Spring Mountain Road in Napa County.
According to an article published by the Napa Valley Register, the accident took place on Tuesday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 7:20 a.m.
The incident happened on September 27 when a Toyota Yaris was going east on Spring Mountain Road in Napa County. At the same time, a Toyota Tundra was traveling west.
The Yaris then crossed the double-yellow lines into the westbound lane directly into the path of the Tundra. In the process, the car slammed head-on into the pickup truck.
2 Cars Collide
The California Highway Patrol said the two cars crashed west of Langtry Road. The 75-year-old St Helena woman driving the Yaris sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Paramedics rushed Maria Orozco to the Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center. Medical personnel treated the male driver of the Tundra for the minor injuries he sustained in the incident.
The names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time were not released. Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Spring Mountain Road to shut down following the wreck.
The Napa County crash is still under investigation.
