Passenger Injured in Traffic Collision at Sousa Lane and Soscol Avenue Monday
Napa, CA (July 7, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a suspected DUI car crash in the area of Sousa Lane and Soscol Avenue, the Napa Valley Register News reported.
On July 5, a 22-year-old woman was behind the wheel of a vehicle traveling in the streets of Napa. Our sources indicated the vehicle with two occupants attempted to make a turn from Sousa Lane into Soscol Avenue. In the process, the vehicle collided into another motorist heading north on Soscol.
Officials said the crash took place shortly before 9 p.m
The article published online confirmed a passenger in the vehicle driven by a 22-year-old woman sustained injuries. When emergency teams arrived at the site, they reportedly transported the injured passenger to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment.
No other injuries were reported after the incident.
DUI Suspect Arrested After Car Crash in Napa, July 5
Detectives later mentioned the 22-year-old woman showed signs of intoxication. For this reason, police booked her into the Napa County jail on suspicion of causing injury by driving under the influence.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
