Man Injured in Napa Crash at Highway 29 and Highway 12/121

NAPA, CA (August 5, 2021) – One was injured after a DUI car crash at Highway 29 and Highway 12/121 in Napa.

According to an article published by The Napa Valley Register, the accident took place early Wednesday. Officers reported the wreck on August 4 at about 12:05 a.m.

The incident began when a 2016 Ford Mustang was traveling south on Highway 29 in Napa. At the same time, a Jeep Liberty was turning left from eastbound Highway 12/121 onto northbound Highway 29.

2 Cars Collide

Police said the Ford then broadsided the Jeep in the intersection. The man driving the Jeep sustained a forearm injury as a result of the collision.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and provided treatment to the victim. Officials did not release his name and condition at this time.

Meanwhile, police determined that the female driver of the Mustang was under the influence of alcohol when she hit the other car. They soon arrested her for felony DUI.

The California Highway Patrol forced the area of Highway 29 and Highway 12/121 to shut down following the wreck. The Napa crash is still under investigation.
