Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Napa Crash at Highway 29 and Highway 221
NAPA, CA (April 29, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Highway 29 and Highway 221 in Napa.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Friday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:47 p.m.
CHP said the motorcycle rider and a white BMW X5 collided for an unknown reason in the city of Napa. The two crashed on Highway 29 at the intersection with Highway 221.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist down on the ground. The patient sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the victim to the Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. Officers forced the area of Highway 29 and Highway 221 to shut down after the incident.
The cause of the Napa crash is still under investigation.
