Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle on East View Street
North County, CA (February 26, 2023) – Natanael Garcia, 21, died following a suspected hit-and-run collision that occurred on East View Street.
The FOX5 News reported Garcia was walking in a westerly direction on East View Street on February 5, Sunday. While crossing the street, a passing vehicle struck the man. Our sources confirmed the pedestrian suffered major trauma as a result of the collision.
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to the victim found lying on the ground. Paramedics performed life-saving efforts, but the pedestrian sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the scene. The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the deceased as Natanael Garcia, of Fallbrook.
Deadly Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident in North County
Authorities later confirmed the driver involved in the horrible crash fled after hitting the pedestrian. Preliminary investigation revealed the hit-and-run suspect was driving a blue sedan, possibly a Honda Accord, when the incident happened.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the fatal collision on East View Street in North County.
