Young Man Dies in Hit-and-Run Collision on East View Street
Fallbrook, CA (February 8, 2023) – Nathan Garcia, a 21-year-old male, suffered fatal injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred on East View Street.
On February 5, Sunday, Nathan was reportedly walking in a westerly direction across East View Street. The Village News reported a passing vehicle did not slow down, and struck the man in the roadway. The horrible crash took place near North Main Avenue.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Fallbrook
Shortly after 9:40 p.m., the California Highway Patrol arrived at the location. Responding medical personnel immediately attended to the victim found lying on the ground. Despite life-saving efforts performed by paramedics, the pedestrian sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. Family members and authorities later identified the deceased as Nathan Garcia, of Fallbrook.
The article published online mentioned the driver involved in the catastrophic incident fled the scene. Detectives continue to gather information to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect in the fatal crash that happened on East View Street in Fallbrook.
