Suspected Hit-and-run Driver Arrested After Fatal Crash that killed Iryna Miller
UPDATED: REDONDO BEACH, Calif. (Sept. 4, 2018) – Nathan Greenberg, 28, of Redondo Beachturned himself in to police on Wednesday, a day after he struck two pedestrians on Artesia Boulevard.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 5.
The suspected hit-and-run driver struck a man and woman on Tuesday morning in Redondo Beach, killing one of them identified as Iryna Miller, 36, of Redondo Beach. The man suffered major injuries including a skull fracture, according to a report by the Redondo Beach Police Department.
The man, and the woman who died, were crossing the westbound lanes about 2 a.m. this morning. They were crossing in the 1900 block of Artesia Boulevard when they were hit by the driver, police said.
Police say the woman died at the scene and the man was taken to a hospital in unknown condition. Meanwhile, the driver fled in a white pickup truck westbound on Artesia Boulevard.

A full investigation is underway as police piece together evidence. It’s good that the driver decided to turn himself in to give the family some closure, but he should be held accountable for his actions.
