SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. (March 7, 2023) — Nathan Johnson, 18, of Santa Maria, died Sunday morning in a motorcycle accident on Foxen Canyon Road near Sisquoc, KSBY reports.
The two-vehicle crash occurred about 10 a.m. on March 5th, according to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office.
The Santa Maria teen was riding a motorcycle when the bike and a Honda Accord collided due to unknown circumstances, the report said. It happened in the 7600 block of Foxen Canyon Road.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded to help those involved, but sadly the teen suffered fatal injuries. The driver in the Honda Accord was not injured in the crash.
Nathan Johnson was a senior at Righetti High School, according to school district officials.
Finally, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
