Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicles on 5 Freeway Near Civic Center Drive

DATE OF ACCIDENT: Thursday, October 25th
October 26, 2018 – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident Thursday evening on the Interstate 5 Freeway, according to ABC News.
Officials said a man was seen walking in the area near the Civic Center Drive ramp from southbound 5 Freeway at about 8:30 p.m.
For reasons still under investigation, the pedestrian was reportedly struck by multiple vehicles. Officials said as many as three automobiles may have hit the man.

Responding paramedics immediately attended to the victim, but the man sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. The identity of the fatality remained undisclosed at this time, pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was released on the drivers who struck the pedestrian. The detectives handling the case continue to investigate exactly what happened here and why.
